This once-in-a-lifetime two-week trip with award-winning travel journalist Judith Fein and photographer Paul Ross takes you to sensuous and romantic Istanbul, legendary Troy, the Byzantine caves and churches in the lunar landscape of Cappadocia, Ephesus, the white cliffs of Pammukale, Konya and the tomb of the poet and mystic Rumi. The journey will introduce you to a deep, rich culture and present you with unusual opportunities to interact with it and explore your own spirituality and creativity.  Accompanied by local Turkish guides and experts, you will  be shopping and cooking with a Sufi chef, experiencing the whirling dervishes, doing calligraphy, being introduced to the Allawi religion, meeting with the rabbi of Istanbul,  sipping chai with locals in their villages, learning about Turkish carpets, blogging, improving your photography, sailing on the Bosphorus, savoring specialties of Turkish cuisine in local restaurants. 

The cost is $4200 and includes everything except international airfare.
